An Atheist's Ignorance

Two friends once had a bet. They agreed that the one who loses should give whatever the other demands. Finally the one who won demanded a cheque to be written by the loser. With much pride he asked the loser to write a cheque of 1 with 7 zeroes next to it. The loser unwillingly, but promptly wrote the cheque and dropped it into the winner’s account with a heavy heart.

Two days later, the bank returned the cheque saying that the bank would accept only cheques which have value more than $100. Confused, the winner took a clear look into the cheque submitted. To his amazement the cheque had 7 zeroes next to 1 expect that they were before the 1 instead of being after!

Little did he know that zeroes have value only where they are used appropriately. Atheism is such a state where God does not have value because God is placed at the wrong side. An Atheist is not sure God exists and also not sure if God doesn’t exist. With all his doubts, he substitutes God is all ways to see if He makes sense. Just like a zero before any number would not make sense, God also would not make sense to him.

When we are to debate with an Atheist we need to make sure that we don’t argue about God’s existence rather focus the Atheist's perspective on how to make the best use of God by placing Him in the appropriate place where He would make sense.
